Blue Slipper announces auditions for Nick Flynn play
“Alice Invents a Little Game and Alice Always Wins,” by award-winning memoirist and poet Nick Flynn, will kick off the 2023-24 season at Livingston’s Blue Slipper Theatre, with open auditions held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, a Blue Slipper news release announced.
Parts are available for four actors: two women (one who can play a teenager, though actual age is less important) and one 30s–60s; and two men (20s–50s). No prepared material is necessary: there will be an opportunity to review excerpts from the script before auditioning. The production, directed by Marc Beaudin, will run weekends, Sept. 29 through Oct. 8.
