Aetrex Footwear Continues Sales Growth Momentum With New Styles Inspired by Best Sellers
Building off the success of five key shoe constructions, brand to exhibit new styles at Atlanta Shoe Market, Booth #1537
TEANECK, N.J., August 01, 2023--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aetrex, Inc. ("Aetrex"), a global market leader in foot scanning technology and data-driven orthotics and comfort footwear, today announced plans to showcase its Spring/Summer 2024 collection at this year’s Atlanta Shoe Market, August 12-14. Aetrex will debut new footwear constructions that expand on consumer favorite core, spring styles, which have contributed to the brand’s footwear category growth of 23% increase year-over-year, following last year’s 50% sales increase. Styles include the Jillian sandal, the company’s top seller with an 8-year tenure, and Sydney wedge, which increased in sales volume this year by 35%.

New, notable styles include the classic three-strap Lilly sandal, inspired by the Jillian; the Kristin, a 2¼" strappy block heel inspired by the Jillian and Sydney’s classic cork footbed; and the Alyssa, a back-strapless platform sandal, and Tamara, a flat, casual sandal with an asymmetrical ankle strap, featuring the same footbed as Vania, which ranked as the top five style in its first year (SS ’23). New entries to the Sydney construction, Aetrex’s second-highest performing shoe, include the Anna and Ashley wedges. While both feature jute-wrapped silhouettes, the Anna introduces flattering crisscross straps, while the Ashley offers clean, everyday coverage.
"When designing our collection, we looked to build upon what makes our top-performing styles consumer favorites, offering fresh silhouettes on constructions consumers already know fit perfectly and feel great. We also sprinkled in trending colors and materials to inject new excitement and energy," said Amy Egelja, VP of Footwear Design at Aetrex. "Our footwear is designed for consumers who want top-of-the-line comfort and relief from common foot pains, without sacrificing style, earning a trusted spot in their wardrobes."
Taking cues from cosmetic color trends for Spring ‘24, nudes and neutrals such as taupe, camel and walnut, which flatter every skin tone, remain important. Existing styles like Whit and Marz see added colorways like champagne and beige, while new styles such as the Alyssa are introduced in black and cognac. Several products have also received rhinestone and metallic colorway additions, including the Fiji Sparkle and Maui flip in metallic ombre.
All Aetrex shoes are designed and developed based on scientific data and learnings sourced from more than 50 million global 3D foot scans conducted on Aetrex’s foot scanners, the Albert 2 Pro and Albert 3DFit, to ensure maximum comfort, support and a better fit. Each shoe features an orthotic footbed with proprietary arch support for proper body alignment.
Available February 2024, the SS’24 collection will also include a new clog style, two new thong sandals and bright colorways for fan-favorite casual sneakers. Atlanta Shoe Market attendees can stop by booth (#1537) to experience the collection.
