Police log: Suspect cited for stealing shoes with orthotics

Roseburg Police Department

Monday

2 p.m. — Man damaged multiple newspaper stands belonging to The News-Review.

4:08 p.m. — Officers responded to a theft of shoes with orthotics valued over $300 in the 1100 block of Northeast Stewart Parkway. A suspect was cited.

Tuesday

9 a.m. — Man was told to move camp last week, but was back. There were about three truckloads of debris and trash.

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Monday

Sutherlin Police Department

Richard Lane Kaufman, 49, of Cottonwood, on suspicion of three counts of first-degree forgery.

Roseburg Police Department

Tony Eugene Palm, 56, of Roseburg, on suspicion of violation of restraining order, menacing, three counts of first-degree burglary, third-degree theft, unauthorized possession of methamphetamine and interfere with a police officer.
